Color: pale gold to old gold with a very fine bead. Nose: floral first impression (hawthorn, peony) with yellow fruits and apple, very fine oak and light smokiness. Palate: lively attack with nuance, finesse, freshness, roundness and pleasant persistence. Aromatic and silky, with good length. Pairing: Bresse poultry with porcini. Comment: a very fine wine, noble and tense, to keep 5–7 years.
