Color: dark ruby with a slightly bluish rim. Nose: concentrated, with blackcurrant, black plum, Morello cherry, spices, fine oak, aromatic herbs, and black olive tapenade. Palate: generous and ample, with beautiful substance. Refreshing acidity and silky, polished tannins bring balance and great freshness. The mid-palate shows impressive density. Silky finish. Pairing: venison fillet with pink peppercorns and red wine sauce. Comment: a wine of great complexity.
