for Michel Hermet

President of the French Sommellerie Union, Michel Hermet was awarded the National Order of Merit by Stephane Le Foll, secretary for Agriculture, Food-processing Industry and Forest. It was on the 28th of April this year, in the Department quarters, where Michel Hermet gathered a few friends to share this emotional moment.
If the secretary mentioned the journey of the new chosen member, sommelier, restaurateur and wine grower, he also appreciated the speech given by the new knight of the order created by the General De Gaulle. Michel Hermet tried indeed to pass on some messages.
“Mister Secretary, I trust you to be close to all the actors of the wine industry that are the pride of France. Particularly the sommeliers who are prestigious ambassadors and mindful partners.(...). The training and the involvement of our youngs goes through a faultless example of our eldest to maintain a requirement and professionalism the highest possible. This mission of passing on knowledge, the French Sommellerie Union takes it on regularly side by side with professional teachers, contributing to create vocations and give birth to passions. This passion has always been my driving force and allowed me to blossom.”
