welcomes a Michelin-starred Chef for its third Table des Chefs residency

Kelly Rangama

Young Michelin-starred chef Kelly Rangama will succeed Florian Barbarot at La Table des Chefs in Reims, starting from November 30th.

Adorned with a Michelin star for her restaurant, Le Faham, located in the Batignolles district of Paris, Kelly Rangama will offer an innovative culinary experience and a journey to the distant French Overseas Territories for a three-month period, all complemented by G.H. Mumm champagnes.

The wine and champagne menu for La Table des Chefs throughout the year is curated by Raimonds Tomsons, elected ASI Best Sommelier of the World in February 2023. This partnership of excellence mirrors the commitment to expertise that Maison Mumm has maintained for nearly two centuries, showcasing its ability to innovate while preserving its heritage.

A relentless pursuit of innovation

Kelly Rangama brings a unique vision of gastronomy, infused with the flavors of travels from the Caribbean to the Indian Ocean, which resonates with Maison Mumm's innovative character. While seeking balance with the various champagnes, her gastronomic menu, with ultramarine influences and available in 3, 4, or 6 courses, offers a distinctive experience, harmonizing with the terroir's riches.

“I am passionate about Champagne. I had a crush on Maison Mumm, which is constantly striving for innovation in creating and blending its cuvées. Our two worlds perfectly complement each other. It is the first time that Maison Mumm collaborates with a female chef, and it is both an honor and a challenge for me to excel”. — Kelly Rangama.
