Aromas of quince and walnut, acacia, citrus and melon then scents of ageing and woodiness. Palate: suppleness, roundness, quite fat. Beautiful balance. Exotic fruits, fruits in eau-de-vie (quince, a hint of pear) and oak barrel. Wonderful length. Match with food: pigeon tajine, strong cheese like veined cheese. Comments: deserves aeration to reveal all its flavours. To let age more.
