Domaine Moissenet-Bonnard
Color: deep ruby with violet highlights. Nose: expressive and generous, with black and red fruits (bigarreau cherry, blackberry and cassis), violet, pepper, liquorice and a touch of undergrowth. Palate: structured, broad and fleshy. The tannins are present yet supple and well-coated. The finish is long, spicy and gently earthy, with lingering dark fruit and liquorice notes. Comment: the balance rests on beautifully ripe fruit and sufficient freshness to support the whole.
