Visual aspect: a very dark ruby hue and orangey tinges. Nose: very rich aromas of roasted tomatoes, caramelised onions and scents of vanilla. Palate: marvellous acidity, excellent length on a flavour of black fruit in compote. Match with food: grilled sardines, tapenade. Comments: a wine to savour with friends.
