Visual aspect: pellucid and shining, with a bold garnet-red hue and dark purple tints.
Nose: marvellous intensity on powerfulness and scents of black fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry, bilberry) and a roasted hint (coffee, chocolate).
Palate: pure and powerful first taste, tannin is distinct and tightly-knit. The second taste reveals a jammy flavour, the finish is long and somewhat bitter.
Match with food: a dish of cured pork meats.
Comments: excellent concentration for this lovely wine.
