Visual aspect: a garnet-red hue, with pinkish tints and a touch of carmine red on the edge of the disc. Nose: fruity, very ripe and pleasant with mild hints of woodiness. Aromas of stone fruit, such as plum. Palate: round and smooth on the first taste, with lovely development on supple tannins. A good finish. Match with food: Pikeperch cooked in red wine pigeon pastilla.
