Color: pale gold with crystalline highlights. Fine and persistent mousse. Nose: citrus, candied lemon, white flowers, white-fleshed fruits and vineyard peach. Notes of vanilla, fresh hazelnut and toasted bread. Palate: lively and chiselled on the attack, creamy, with an excellent balance between Chardonnay's tension and the subtle richness brought by partial oak ageing. The finish is long and saline. Pairing: scallop carpaccio. Comment: a refined and highly aromatic bottle.
