Palate: red and black fruit (blackberry, blackcurrant), with lovely substance, supported by marked yet elegant acidity bringing freshness and balance, and a persistent finish. Pairing: grilled white meat; leg of lamb. Comment: a wine already enjoyable today, but with good ageing potential for even greater pleasure (10 years).
