Color: intense golden yellow, bright. Nose: truffle and spicy at the opening. Toasted bread, brioche, smoked, wood fire. Palate: attack on toast followed by forest notes of wood and mushrooms. Very spicy and aromatic. A nice length. Pairing: game, mushroom fricassee with meat juice; mature cheese. Comment: a very beautiful vintage champagne which has retained a beautiful bubble and which shows the character and heritage of the House.
