Château Petit Val

25/05/2023
tasted by Paolo Basso, Best Sommelier of the World 2013

When Jean-Louis and Olivia Alloin decided to invest in the Bordeaux vineyards, Château Petit Val was a step back to their roots.

After more than forty years in business, Jean-Louis Alloin, the son and grandson of craftsmen with roots in the Beaujolais region, found this property, which had been preserved as if it were destined for him, and thus perpetuated the family history. This story is also the story of a meeting with David Liorit, a consultant and passionate winemaker, to whom he entrusted this discreet nugget. Their aspiration: to combine know-how and passion to elevate Château Petit Val to the rank of the Grands Crus of excellence.
