Visual aspect: beautifully bright and pellucid with a ruby hue. Nose: very delicate and elegant on aromas of lovely ripe fruit, blackcurrant and hints of liquorice. Palate: marvellous fullness and excellent body, very smooth. Superb finish on a flavour of red fruit. Match with food: lamb, rib beef. Comments: a magnificent Saint-Estèphe. Marvellous terroir expression.
