Color: dark garnet with a brilliant rim. Nose: beautiful aromatic complexity with good balance. Black and red fruit (blueberry, cassis, cherry), spices, empyreumatic notes and a slightly lactic character. Palate: clean attack, with freshness dominating the fruit and spices, and a note of oak ageing. Spicy and warm finish. Pairing: aged meat cooked over vine cuttings, crunchy red cabbage and pil-pil sauce. Comment: wait a little for the oak ageing to become less pronounced. Cellaring 5 years.
