Color: clear and bright with a deep amber color and a light greenish rim. Nose: good complexity, with a leathery note, cedar and forest floor, combined with roasted hazelnut, prune and raisin, candied orange peel, hint of dark chocolate and nougat. Palate: generous, spicy and oily attack, with sweet sensations of dried prune and candied orange. Honey and roasted walnut adding a chocolatey bitter sensation. The finish shows dried spice and leathery notes. Very fine layered complexity and persistent finish.
