Visual aspect: a gleaming ruby-red hue. Nose: aromatic, with scents of blackberry, sweet spices, cinnamon and pink peony.  Palate: fresh on the first taste, vegetal, a slight touch of menthol, it is supple and pleasant. The finish is fresh and spicy. Match with food: pan-fried calf's sweetbread.  Comments: an all-round, well-balanced wine.
