Visual aspect: a vivid ruby hue, showing the first signs of development. Nose: scents of pencil lead, pulp, floral, fresh fragrances, aromas of liquorice, it seems very young, giving a touch of varnish and a malted, blackcurrant hint. Palate: supple, slightly acid on flavours of black fruit, blackberry, and hints of wood, burning and vanilla. Excellent, supple, elegant length. Match with food: barbecued beef. Comments: still marked by wood, but superb potential.
