Visual aspect: luminous and concentrated, with a lovely garnet-red colour. Nose: elegant, rich, delicious, it combines hints of pepper and scents of small red fruit and liquorice. Palate: full-bodied, generous, fresh with fruity flavours, sustained by distinct, but elegant, fine tannin. The finish is marvellously long. Match with food: wild boar. Comment: a splendid Châteauneuf-du-Pape, great talent! We recommend this wine for the pure pleasure it gives.
