Champagne Waris Larmandier
Visual aspect: a very pale yellow, shining hue, with fine, consistent effervescence. Nose: rich, mineral and elegant on aromas of apple, pear, white blossom, hawthorn and acacia blossom. Palate: fleshy with flavours of white-fleshed fruit, peach, apple, pear and nectarine. The finish reveals a bitter sweet touch. Spices. Match with food: scallops coated in breadcrumbs and fried, served with thin sticks of Granny Smith apple. Comments: a connoisseurs' Champagne. A truly magnificent wine.
