Visual aspect: an extremely vivid deep crimson colour, it looks velvety smooth. Nose: very rich, smoky gamey, leather scents, it develops on aromas of spices, fresh butter and cocoa. Palate: the tannins are still a little tightly-knit, flavours of black fruit, game, spices and leather. Match with food: duck confit, ostrich meat, braised meats, mature goat's cheese. Comments: a very pleasant wine to accompany fine food.
