Visual aspect: a beautiful, vivid garnet-red hue. Nose: complex, revealing characteristic aromas, toasted scents and hints of red fruit. Palate: a superb first taste, a spicy flavour of pink and white peppercorns, a slightly vegetal touch and very pleasant with a mentholated hint that gives freshness on the finish. Match with food: chump end of loin veal, carrot purée with caraway. Comments: a very fine wine, a credit to its appellation.
