Nose: toasted, woody hints and scents of vanilla and fruit (cherry), it develops aromas of black fruit and spices.
Palate: pure on the first taste, with distinct tannins and lovely balance it is pleasant on the finish. Powerful and full of sweetness.
Match with food: galantine of duck with foie gras. Comment: an extraordinary wine in this excellent vintage.
