Visual aspect: beautiful red colour, deep garnet-red, brilliant. Nose: black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant), grilled and spicy notes at second nose. Palate: an elegant wine crafted with two grape varieties from Douro. The wine is powerful with fine tannins. Rich alcohol. Well-made finish. Match with food: medallion of venison and small slice of foie gras, glazed cherries. Comments: made with Touriga Nacional and Tinto Cão.
