In 2015, the Vinolok closure celebrates its 10 years on the market, an opportunity to take stock of the results and present them on Prowein! The biggest fair in Germany Prowein will thus allow the visitors to discover the Vinolok stand, mainly dedicated to the presentation of the most important winegrowers using the Vinolok closure.
Some wines of 2004, 2005 closed with Vinolok can be tasted during the event, a special vertical tasting. The range of the wines presented is impressive, from the Provence rosés represented by Breban Vins, including famous Australian Henschke Winery and leading German Riesling Schloss Vollrads, Becker Weingut and Menger Krug. In the meantime discover the Austrian and Italian users, especially Loimer, Tement, Umathum, Loacker, Cantina Tramin, etc..
The success of the Vinolok closure is essentially due to the implementation of a unique technology. It enables the most natural possible contact between the wine and the glass thanks to the combination of three essential characteristics: a taste-neutral material, glass; a closure resisting to 3 bars of pressure, and a slow SO2 exchange. Vinolok has also worked with the Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI) to verify its products’ OTR performance, with tests proving its oenological capabilities.
Vinolok prides itself on its flexibility when it comes to specifications and designs. Producers can choose the size of the closure, according to the uncorking tolerance of their bottles. Vinolok is now compatible with the most common bottles on the market from some of the most reputable bottle makers. The closure also has two different heights of top to choose from, with the Low Top mainly used for wine packaging, and the higher version, the High Top, used mainly for spirits and water packaging.
