PRODUCTS for DISPLAYING and serving wine

Inventor of the wine cabinet and major player in the wine accessories and equipment market for 35 years, EuroCave group is well known by professionals and the public, in France and throughout the world, thanks to the high quality of its products and services.
Since 2008, EuroCave has strengthened its positioning in the hotel and restaurant market even more by creating EuroCave Professional, a division dedicated to professionals, offering both a specific range of products and a wide selection of exclusive services, and developed in collaboration with the MOF* som­meliers, with whom the brand has developed a special relationship. Long-term partnerships have been established with two of them: John Euvrard and Fabrice Sommier. EuroCave Professional, together with the Champagne House Duval-Leroy, also supported the 2011 MOF Sommelier competition.
The brand now offers two comprehensive ranges of products, which meet the specific requirements of professionals: wine storage or serving cabinets and products dedicated to wine by the glass.

At the instigation of Hervé Mao, its Chief Executive since the end of 2010, EuroCave Professional is continuously devising ways of improving ease of handling, functionality, technical standard and design. 9 patents have already been filed, the recent innovations have been commended at key food service industry events and by the specialized press (ShowCave, elected innovation of the year 2010 by La Revue du Vin de France and DIAM), and more innovations are in the pipeline for 2012!

The brand’s historic expertise: wine cabinets

With the benefit of its expertise, EuroCave Professional soon noticed that the end-consumer was looking for more and more quality in the restaurants’ wine offer, i.e. wines matching the dishes, served at the correct temperature and sold at the right price!

Thanks to its product range—the most comprehensive on the market with 1, 2 or multi-temperature wine cabinets which are functional, ergonomic, and attractive at the same time—EuroCave Professional wine cabinets are a major asset for showcasing and selling your wine.

Serving wine by the glass: turnover booster

The way people drink wine has changed—the consumer now drinks less but places higher emphasis on quality! However, he wants advice on which wine to try, or which wine to choose with his meal. Wine by the glass has become an essential component of a restaurant’s wine list (89% of the establish­ments offer it according to the 2010 hospitality industry national survey). That’s why EuroCave Professional continues to create new solutions for serving wine by the glass, which are intended to prevent waste and even boost restaurants’ wine turnover!

According to Hervé Mao “increase wine’s turnover in the catering sector is important and involves, on one hand, a coherent, adapted to the consumption, significant, (and not too down-market) wine-by-the-glass offer, and, on the other hand, an attractive display of the products—proof of professional control—activating the envy and thus the impulse buying.

In addition to a range of wine-by-the-glass dispensers, EuroCave Professional has developed another solution which allows wine to be served at the table in the traditional way. With Sowine Pro, you no longer need to bring a filled glass to the table. Now you can serve the wine in front of your customers! When you have finished serving, simply activate the oxygen extraction system to preserve the wine in the opened bottles and store them at the correct temperature until you next use them (up to 10 days).
