... The spring came early and was very warm, the summer was fresh with rain and even hail in some areas. The wine growers had alternately hopes and fears all along. Anyway, the volumes and quality seem to be superior to 2013. Let’s look back at the harvest to get an idea of the vintage before the official tastings of next spring.   Alsace For the Crémant, the harvest was good. The picking started on September 3rd and promised to be qualitative. The humidity in the end of August enabled to keep the acidity. The Crémants will be successful this year.
